A landmark, £70m, mixed-use development on the site of a former power station in Kingston upon Thames.

The complex is the first in the UK to encase an electrical substation. It features a sizable element of social housing, a hotel and several design innovations.

The project’s design, its height and its sensitive location, gave rise to many years of negotiation, an extensive public consultation and an inquiry. We led complex negotiations with the council to achieve a highly-innovative approach, ensuring the viability of the scheme.

The scheme won numerous environmental awards. It was completed in 2014.
