We were asked to lessen restrictions on the type of goods that could be sold at a former DIY store in Hertfordshire. Instead, we found an opportunity to remove restrictions altogether.
The unit now benefits from an unrestrained retail consent, considerably enhancing its letting prospects.
We discovered that the building still benefitted from permitted development rights, however the local authority refused to issue a certificate. We won the case on appeal.
Permission was secured in 2012.
